This privacy policy is meant to explain how Rydelinx collects, uses and protects and discloses personal information provided by Users, Riders and Third-Party Drivers located within the Region, including those who access the Services to request transportation.
Rydelinx acknowledges that personal information may include sensitive material and takes all reasonable steps to ensure that your information is protected.
This policy may be periodically updated, at which time Rydelinx will notify you of any changes through the Rydelinx app, email or by other means.
To the extent permitted under applicable law, by using the Services after such notice, you consent to the updated policy.
“User” means any individual or entity that accesses the Rydelinx Services.
“Rider” means any individual or entity that uses the Rydelinx Services to request transportation.
“Services” means the Rydelinx mobile application and related services which enable users to arrange and schedule transportation.
“Third Party Driver” means any individual that has entered into an agreement with Rydelinx via the Rydelinx App to provide transportation to Rydelinx Users.

All information that may be collected from Drivers (identified above) as well as: information about your vehicle or insurance, consent to a background check (where permitted by law), location information when the Rydelinx app is running, information from insurance providers and financial services providers, and tax identification numbers (or social security numbers) for 1099 tax forms.
Information provided to Rydelinx by Drivers and Riders will be used only for the following purposes:
Information provided to Rydelinx by Third Party Drivers may be used, in addition to the uses listed above, to identify unsafe driving behaviors such as speeding or harsh braking and acceleration.
Photo IDs of Third-Party Drivers may be used to help ensure that the Driver using the Services matches their Rydelinx account profile.
Rydelinx does not sell or share your personal information to third parties for third party direct marketing purposes.
“Cookies” are small data files that are placed in your browser by websites to recognize your computer or mobile device when you return to that site. Cookies keep track of your movements within the site, and can store usernames, preferences and other customizations. They are stored on your computer's hard drive.
Rydelinx uses cookies and other identification technologies on our apps, websites, emails, and online ads for purposes described in this policy.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
However, if you do not accept cookies, the functionality of the Services may be reduced.
Rydelinx may use cookies and similar technologies for purposes such as: authenticating Users, configuring User account preferences, determining the popularity of content, measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and analyzing online behaviors.
Rydelinx may share/disclose your information in the following ways:
Rydelinx takes the security of your personal information very seriously. The Rydelinx app and Services protect your personal information, including all payment information, during transit using encryption. When your personal data is stored by Rydelinx, we use technology systems with secured access housed in facilities using physical security measures.
You may delete your Rydelinx account at any time using the “Privacy Settings” menu in the Rydelinx app. Upon request, Rydelinx will delete or anonymize your account information. Information may still be accessed by Rydelinx following deletion of your account: 1) where there is an unresolved matter regarding your User account, such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute, 2) where required by law, and 3) to protect against fraud and safety risks.
You can use the “Settings” menu in the Rydelinx app to: access and edit the name, phone number and email address associated with your User Account, access prior trip and rating information; and adjust your location, contacts sharing and notifications preferences.
You will be alerted by your iOS or android device the first time Rydelinx requests permission to access your data.
You may opt out of receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Please note that if you opt out, Rydelinx may still send you non-promotional messages, such as receipts for your rides or information about your account.
